The Holidays are all about music and having fun together while playing music. If you are a drummer, whether beginner or proficient, practicing solo or member of a band, there are lots of great songs to entertain your loved ones – here are some tips for you:
- Classic holiday songs – all the classic songs played around the winter holidays have rhythm sections, so whether your favorite is Silent Night, Feliz Navidad, Jingle Bells or some other, widely-known song, you can find great practice videos online to hone your skills and to surprise your loved ones with timeless music;
- Any of your favorite songs that exude a mood and an atmosphere suited for the holidays have rhythm sections. If the songs that are close to your heart are not very well-known among your family members, you can find covers of the song that serve the purpose of practicing the drum section, the song being recorded without the drums. You can use these versions to practice before you take center stage to entertain your friends and family and you can use them during your performance, to create the illusion that you are actually a member of the band that plays the song. If you haven't started drumming yet, find a good set of drums for sale and start learning some Christmas songs for the fun of it.
