There are many percussion instruments that, in addition to being used by professional musicians, are very entertaining and fun for kids, being easy to use. To start think about percussion and drum rental to see what your kids like best before buying an instrument they won't play. Here are some of them.

Cowbells

Cowbells can be considered some of the first musical instruments used by man. They go back so far in history that it is impossible for us to trace them. Cowbells are percussion instruments, which means we can get musical notes by hitting them.

Triangle

The triangle is a percussion instrument made from a bent steel and having the shape of a triangle. It produces a lovely bright sound and it is classified as an idiophone, just like the xylophone. The triangle has developed a reputation for being easy to learn. Besides being fun, it's good to know that this instrument has a long history, in a multitude of different musical contexts.

Bongos

Bongos are percussion instrument specific to Cuban music. The most common version of this instrument consists of two Bongos: a smaller one called "macho” that produces higher sounds, and a larger bongo, "hembra", whose purpose is to produce low frequencies.

Tambourine

A tambourine is an instrument associated with fun and happiness, in the shape of a small, portable drum, with metal plates or rattles around it.  The sounds are obtained by shaking it in the air or by striking it gently, with the hand.
